STAPLER

Stapler is a tool to bring together a number of papers by inserting staples (staple) shape of the letter "U" folded at the bottom of the paper when the length exceeds both ends of thick paper staples.

McGill again received US Patent No. 67.665 for press tools that can insert staples into paper. This tool go on display at the Centennial Exhibition in 1867 which was held in Philadelphia. McGill continues to work to improve many of the tools stapler and its contents until the 1880s. On February 18, 1879, patent No. 212.316 McGill received from the US patent office to press enter staples tool called McGill Single-Stroke Staple Press.
